KS2 Sport, Health and Wellbeing Day

Steph Hill (stephhill) on: Year 4 Summer Term 2021

Y4 have been taking part in our Sport, Health and Well-being Day. Outside, the children had the opportunity to take part in a range of new sports including volleyball and badminton. In the classroom, they had great fun designing a healthy meal planner for Mrs Hill and Miss Downey. The children had to ensure they chose foods that provided a balanced diet as well as suggesting a list of activities the teachers could do to keep fit. A fantastic day for everyone!

This week, as part of our PSHE work, we have explored the subject of money. We discussed what it is, how it is used, where it comes from and how to keep it safe. One of our activities was to think about where we can keep our money safe. We arranged our ideas in order from the least safe to the safest place. At each stage we debated our thoughts and ideas.
