Welcome to our school blog, here you will find a snapshot of events taking place at Legh Vale on a weekly basis from Nursery to Y6.

Week Commencing: 16th December 2019

Carols by candlelight in KS2. What beautiful voices the children had!

Lots of smiles from Y4D on Christmas party day!

Y2PM enjoyed making stained glass biscuits as part of a science / DT activity. 

Y3 enjoyed their relaxing, festive - themed yoga sessions this week !

Week Commencing: 9th December 2019

Y3C did a great job, assembling and disassembling hoovers from the Dyson engineering box.  Also, a big thank you to our super helpers from Year 4!

Nursery children developed their fine motor skills by making an angel. They were delighted as they hung it on the Christmas tree.  See the gallery for more pictures. 

Year 2 visited O'Connell close, singing a range of Christmas songs to the residents.

Continuing our study of the Ancient Egyptians, Y5S have enjoyed creating and making their very own Death Masks!

Well done Legh Vale Choir - the concert on Monday evening was fantastic! We are so proud of you.

Week Commencing: 2nd December 2019

Y5S and Y5M have enjoyed being engineers this week! As part of our DT work, we have  disassembled and reassembled Dyson hoover parts. 

Congratulations to Y3, who graduated from their Couch to 2K programme with St.Helens Council's sports development team.

Nursery children have been learning to sew Christmas stockings. 

This week, Y1JL have been learning about shape. They particularly enjoyed putting themselves into different shapes!

Y3 have had a great time travelling on the Polar Express this week ! More photos can be found in our gallery.

Christmas has arrived in Year 4D and the children have been putting decorations on our advent tree each day.

The Christmas elves in Year 1 have been having far too much fun!!
