Teddy Bears Face

Children chose to make a teddy bear's face and added 2 goggly eyes, 2 fluffy ears, 1 shiny black nose and 1 mouth. Children identified numbers 1 and 2.

We're Going on a Bear Hunt

image

Children walked through the school grounds and explored their environment. They re-enacted the story swishing through the grass, splashing through the river,  squelching through the mud, stumbling through the forest, swirling through the snowstorm and tiptoeing through the cave until we found the Teddy Bear.

Singing and dancing in the KS1 Hall.

Children singing and dancing to Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.

Salt Dough Handprints

Children measured ingredients; 1 cup of salt, 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of water. They mixed and rolled the dough then made a handprint.

Easter Cards

Children assembled their eggs and chicks using glue and split pins.

The Three Little Pigs

The children had lots of fun role playing The Three Little Pigs inside and outdoors. They role played pretending to be a wolf or a pig.

Super Stars of the Week in Nursery

World Book Day Activities

After learning the stories children used Purple Mash to complete a picture of a dinosaur, coloured and added collage materials to a Gingerbread Man and planted a sunflower seed.

World Book Day

Children learned three new stories: The Gingerbread Man, Jack and the Beanstalk and Harry and a Bucketful of Dinosaurs. They were so excited to show off their costumes to their friends.
